I want to solve a problem, I ask myself questions, and tools will help me. But it&#8217;s not the tool that solves the problem.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>The combined approach cannot rely solely on the technical integration of siloed solutions. It must be based on strategic thinking, driven by a deep understanding of operations, business lines, and data. <br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Management begins with workload<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Geoffroy d\u2019Argenlieu illustrates the challenge of sizing with a striking image:<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u201cBefore ordering bottles, a winemaker measures the volume of wine he can produce. For companies, it&#8217;s the same: we start by understanding the workload.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>In other words, <strong>operations management precedes and structures Workforce Management.<\/strong> It provides the essential data that feeds planning algorithms: the actual workload to be absorbed.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A virtuous cycle to initiate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Once the workload is well-defined, Workforce Management can use this data to <a href=\"https:\/\/althea-groupe.com\/nos-solutions\/rh\/gestion-des-temps-et-de-la-planification\/vers-une-gestion-des-temps-3a-agile-et-flexible\/\">build adjusted schedules<\/a>, taking into account social rules, employee preferences, and performance objectives.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe two approaches feed each other to create a continuous and completely virtuous improvement process\u201d<\/em>, summarizes the episode&#8217;s host.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our convictions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Start with the fundamentals:<\/strong> analysis of workload, flows, and operational experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make tools communicate:<\/strong> solutions must allow for fluid interoperability, but on solid process foundations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support projects:<\/strong> a good tool is not enough. A global transformation project is needed, driven by business lines and supervised by experts. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><em>\u201cA bad process will feed a tool with bad data.
